Presidential elections of Handball Federation were held at the press conference hall of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The voting was open and 21 from 22 delegates attended it.

Two from three candidates refused to participate in the elections. So, Zurab Kakabadze became president of Handball Federation with twenty supporters and one opposite.

Zaza Jiadze was the only opposite of a new president. Members of presidium were elected too. Imedo Pkhakadze, Ketevan Koberidze, Elizbar Arsenishvili, Guram Dzagania and others are among 11 members.
