Wrestling tournament has started at London Olympics. Greco-Romans started the competition. Champions of 55kg and 74kg will be found out today. 55kg is the only weight class where Georgia does not have participant. Zurab Datunashvili wrestles in 74kg. World junior vice-champion beat Jinhyeok Kim of Japan. Datunashvili won the first period 5-0 and the second – 1:0. Zurab was through 1/8 final where he wrestled against Benjamin Provisor of America.

It was not difficult for Datunashvili to defeat the American sportsman. Zurab won in two sets (1:0, 6:0). In ¼ final he wrestled against Emin Ahmadov of Azerbaijan. Ahmadov substituted European champion Rafik Huseinov in his country’s Olympic team. Datunashvili won the first set but lost the second one. The third set turned out decisive where Ahmadov wrestled better. If Ahmadov wins semifinal, Datunashvili will wrestle for bronze medal.
