Georgian judoka Levan Zhorzholiani (100 kg) became silver medal winner of Grand Prix which is underway in the city of China, Qingdao. In the final of the tournament, Zhorzholiani lost to Hee-Tae Hwang of Korea.

Before the decisive game, Levan won over Shintaro Higashi of the USA, Cyrille Maret of France and Utkur Kurbanov of Uzbekistan. In semifinal, he defeated Artem Bloshenko of Ukraine by two yukos and waza-ari.

Zhorzholiani earned 120 rating points and is ahead of Irakli Tsirekidze in world ranking. Tsirekidze beat Balint Frakash of Hungary by ippon but then lost to Riunosuke Haga of Japan.
