The last rival of “Zestaponi” which is one of the leaders of Georgian Championship was “Lokomotive” Bulgaria at “Marbella Cup”. “Zestaponi” had advantages in this match and finally won – 3:0. Both of the teams lost matches before this game. “Zestaponi” lost with “Sparta” Prague (0:5) and with “Dinamo” Tbilisi in penalty series (2:2). As for “Lokomotive”, it lost with “Zenit” Saint Petersburg 1:2 and with “Kuban” Krasnodar – 0:3.
“Zestaponi” scored goal at the 12nd minutes. Kakha Aladashvili assisted to Rati Tsinamzgvrishvili from the right wing and he managed to score – 1:0. The second goal was scored by goalkeeper Yordan Todorov after assisting by Benashvili from the right wing at the 79th minutes. At the same minute, Todorov fall Saba Lomia down in penalty area and due to it he was shown yellow card and was set penalty kick. Goga Grigalashvili kicked penalty and scored – 3:0. As a result “Zestaponi” took the VII place among 8 clubs at “Marbella Cup”. “Zestaponi” leaves for Georgia on February 9.
