Tomorrow Georgian Youth Judo Team leaves for Dusheti and will have meeting at Olympic base for two weeks. Giorgi Vazagashvili head coach of the team will take broadened staff for this meeting. After ending this meeting he will name 8 sportsmen who will wrestle at Kids’ Olympic Festival.

 “We took 42 sportsmen in Dusheti. Leaders of eight weight categories will wrestle at festival which will be held in Trabzon, on July 24-26. Unfortunately annual calendar is not equal and our sportsmen will wrestle at three very important tournaments in this summer. That’s why we wanted not to tire leaders of weight categories very much, because we want them to wrestle well at European, World Championship as well as at Kids Olympic Festival. But finally we decided them to represent Georgia at these following tournaments.  I hope that they will succeed as they did at European Championship. after returning from Turkey we will have two weeks for preparation for World Championship. Supposedly we will have decisive meeting again in Dusheti”- stated Giorgi Vazagashvili in a talk with “World Sport”.

On August 11-14 World Youth Championship is to be held in Kiev.
