Georgian national youth judo team has final preparation for World Championship at Olympic base in Dusheti. Authorities of Georgian judo federation and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs attended the training of Gia Gugava’s team. After ending preliminary control matches of the candidates of national team was made official comment.  As far as you know, on November 3-6 World Youth championship will be held in South Africa.

“It is a very good generation. Soon these guys should be in the main national team and should wrestle at Olympic Games 2016. This year they won four medals at European Youth Championship and I hope that they will succeed at World championship too”-stated Davit Namgalauri deputy of the minister of Sports and Youth Affairs.

Giorgi Aleksidze president of Georgian Judo Federation mentioned that, the national team had all preparation stages and guys are in quite good physical condition and they have real chance to achieve highest goals in South Africa.

On October 29 Georgian national youth judo team finishes preparation in Dusheti and leaves for South Africa on October 31.
