Georgian Tennis Championship 2010 among women and men has already started. Courts of Leila Meskhi Tennis Academy are hosting the championship. Women tennis players played on the first day of the competition.
No.1-5 seed players Sopho Shapatava, Tatia Mikadze, Ekaterine Gorgodze, Ana Jikia and Diana Davitaia were free in the first round and they will play in the next round.
All matches of the first round finished in two sets. Players who went through the second round are paired this way: Sopho Shapatava - Lana Rostiashvili, Tamar Tskhakaia - Barbare Eristavi, Ekaterine Gorgodze - Teona Tatishvili, Rusudan Beberashvili - Tamar Komakhidze, Diana Davitaia - Teona Pipia, Mariam Dgebuadze - Ana Jikia, Ani Gogvadze - Ekaterine Lasareishvili, Tamar Chalaganidze - Tatia Mikadze.
