Vladimir Dvalishvili, forward of the national team and “Maccabi” Haifa, will not participate in the match against Armenia which will be held in Cyprus on February 9. On Saturday, a 24-year-old Georgian forward injured muscle at the 80th minute of Israeli Super League match. He was not able to continue playing. According to doctors of “Maccabi”, Dvalishvili will have to rest for 3 weeks.
Giorgi Daraselidze, assistant of head coach of “Maccabi”, confirmed this information. According to him, when Dvalishvili injured muscle, the coach had already made all three substitutions and the team had to play with 10 players.
Dvalishvili scored 6 goals within 7 matches since December 18. He held 13 matches in the national team and scored only 4 goals.
