Current champion of Georgian Cup "Wit Georgia" went through the semifinal by beating "Spartaki" twice. After the home match (2:1), "Veterinaries" beat outsider of the national championship 1:0 in Gori. At the 47th minute, Giorgi Janelidze took a free kick and defender Guram Adamadze advanced the guests with the head shot.
"Spartaki" had advantage in the first half and they could have scored a goal at the 4th minute when the shot of Badri Tetunashvili touched crossbar. After the break, Janelidze almost scored a goal and Jaba Lipartia missed his head shot...
"Spartaki" had more chance to score goals - Thierry Clovis could not score in an empty goal. Giorgi Dzadzamia, goalkeeper of "Veterinaries", parried the balls of Besik Dekanoidze, Zurab Dzagania and Shota Kashia.
"Spartaki" could not manage to go through the semifinal of Cup for the second time.

Merab Kochlashvili (head coach of "Wit Georgia"): "It was a tense match. My team was nervous in the first half and we changed playing in the second half. I want to thank boys. Now we will fight for winning Super Cup and the team will have a vacation from December 22. After winter break, we will have some changes, 3-4 new players will join our team".
Badri Kvaratskhelia (head coach of "Spartaki"): "We should not have lost this match. We have so many chances to score goals that we should have used them. We will start preparation for the second half of the season on December 25. Supposedly, on January 10 we will go to Kobuleti to train there. We must stay in Supreme League. We are planning to strengthen the staff. Some players who do not play in the main staff will leave the team".
