On May 6 we expected “Georgian derby” in the last round of Italian Serie A. Though, we may see only one our compatriot on the arena. This game is between “Canadian Solar Bologna” of Viktor Sanikidze and “Bennet Cantu” of Manuchar Markoishvili and Giorgi Shermadini. Perhaps, this game will be held without host Georgians.

Fans know that Shermadini will not be able to play till play off because of injury. Markoishvili injured his foot in the previous round. “Bennet Cantu” defeated “Fabi Shoes Montegranaro” 81:63 in the last game. “Manu” played for 19 minutes and earned 8 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Unfortunately, the Georgian was injured in that game.

“In the second half of the game, I hurt that foot which was operated on several years ago. I was not able to continue playing. I do not know if I can play in the last round” – stated Manuchar.

“Bennet Cantu” needs victory for keeping the second place. “Emporio Armani” may overtake the team. The team of Sanikidze is also going to win its game. “Canadian Solar Bologna” is sharing IV-VI places and wants to take higher place.
