According to Aleksei Goikhman president of “Volga”, “Kuban” Krasnodar wanted to transfer Otar Martsvalade the best player of the first Russian Division.
Goikhman stated in Nizhny Novgorod’s TV channel that “Kuban” was paying so much money for Martsavaldze that in this money they would redeem players from “Dinamo” Kiev and would transfer several players in this money. According to him “Volga” has not paid “Dinamo” for Marstvaladze yet. In a result to negotiations with “Dinamo” Kiev, deadline of transfer was delayed.  But for president main is Martvaladze’s position, who does not want to leave Nizhny

Goikhman also mentioned that Gocha Khojava midfielder of “Volga” is strongly desirable player in Russia.  As he mentioned, his transfer prize is the same as Bosnian Mursudin Akhmetovic had. “Volga” bought him in 700 000 $. Khojava is on lease in “Volga” and “Anzhy” Makhachkala owns rights of transfers. Goikhman mentioned that, they have to redeem Khojava in any case.
President of “Volga” emphasized that if they did not sign agreement with Gogita Gogia at the beginning of the season they would not be able to do it later. “Gogua has not found out yet was he right that singed agreement with us or not”- stated Goikhman.
According to him Mate Vatsadze has already signed agreement with “Volga”.
“He is already player of “Volga”. He was playing in “Dinamo” Tbilisi and in Georgian National Team, but in spite of this he is very young. That’s why we have to see, he weill be able to play in Russian Premier League which has its won specifics, or not?!”- stated Goikhman.
