Victory with 10 Double Faults

 

Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili has a good start at Miami prestigious tournament (4 828 050). In the first round of the main draw of Sony Ericsson Open, Tatishvili was beating Tamira Paszek of Austria 6:4, 4:3 when her opponent retired.

22-year-old Tatishvili held a match against Paszek as world No.77 tennis player. Tamira is in the 52nd place in WTA ranking. Georgian and Austrian tennis players played against each other for the first time. It is pleasant that Anna won the match, despite injury of her opponent.

Tatishvili served two aces though she made 10 double faults which is bad result. The match lasted almost one hour and half. Tatishvili lost her own serve three times (from 7) and used 5 from 7 break-points.

Georgian tennis player defended 50 rating points which she earned last year. In the second round, Tatishvili will play against world No.16 Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia.
