U-21 without Mchedlidze,Vatsadze and Dzalamidze

 

Levan Mchedlidze (“Empol” Italy), Mate Vatsadze (“Dinamo”) and Nika Dzalamidze (“CSK”, Russia) cannot help Georgian U-21 National Team in the qualifying match of Eurpeopean Championship 2011 against Turkey on September 4 and against Armenia on September 7. According to the head coach Gabelia Vatsadze suffers from muscle, but in spite of this he attended the meeting and explained what his problem was. Dzalamidze suffers from ankle and that’s why did not arrive in destination place, as for Mchedlidze head coach did not know the reason of his missing.

His brother Giorgi Mchedlidze stated the following in an interview with “World Sport”:” forward of “Empol” does not deny playing in team, but after 7-month pause he considers that he is not ready to participate in decisive matches. According to him, Levan still suffers from muscle on the left leg which was operated twice. Medical team of “Empol” appointed special treatment which lasts for 2months and half. In a result of it he kept off arrival.

Gabelia called up Rati Tsinamzgvrishvili from “Zestaponi”, Teimuraz Shonia from “Spartak” Tskhinvali for replacing those players. Giorgi Khidasheli defender of “Zestaponi” due to disqualification will not play against Turkey, but besides this he will train with team and leaves for Turkey.
On Monday at 13:00 Gabelia’s team gathered in “Tori” hotel. Giorgi Ganugrava and Teimuraz Sharashenidze will join team on September 2 in Turkey, because their club “Dior” has decisive match against “Ferencváros”in Hungarian Championship on September 1.

U-21 trained in Saguramo, there they are to hold training today and team leaves for Turkey on Thursday at dawn. Match is to hold on September 4 in Sakaria at “Adapazari Ataturk” stadium at 18:00 Tbilisi time. Referee of the match will be Slovakian Slavko Vichinch.
