In selective match of European Championship Georgian U-21 National Team beat Armenian Team 3:2 and replaced to the 3rd place. Otar Gabelia’s team has 12 points in 8 matches and is behind only with one point to Turkey which keeps the 2nd place. Georgian Team will have match with them on September 4 in Turkey.
Jano Ananidze scored the first at the 36 minutes with penalty. At the beginning of the second half after Ananidze’s assisted to Mate Vatsadze, who kicked with head and scored 0:2. At the 76 minutes host Henrik Mkhitaryan kicked penalty and scored. After three minutes Nika Kvekveskiri scored the 3 rd responsive goal. Armenians, after Valter Pogosyan’s head-kick scored again. But Gabelia’s team could to keep the score and brought 3 points from Yerevan.
