U-21 Team: Kvekveskiri and Tarkhnishvili Supposedly Will Play

 

Qualifying match of European championship between Georgia and Switzerland is to be held at “Mikheil Meskhi” stadium at 21:00 o’clock on October 7. Due to injuries Levan Kakubava, Tornike Okriashvili, Jaba Jigauri and Tornike arkua will not be able to held Georgian team. Levan Mchedlidze is called up for national team and he also is not able to play for youth team.

On Thursday morning Nika Kvekveskiri and Tornike Tarkhnishvili trained and supposedly they will be able to play on October 7.  Kvekveskiri-Trakhnishvili are the main players in centre and without them situation would be complicated..
Besides injured players, Chedia head coach of the team called up Sikharulia, Gvalia, Lemonjava and Sherozia (goalkeeper).  The training was as usual, nothing special.
It goes without saying that, Swiss also trained at “Mikheil Meskhi” in the evening. On October 4, at dawn they arrived in Tbilisi and had trainings at “Ameri” stadium till Thursday.
Roman Burki (goalkeeper of Swiss U-21 team): We know that Georgia won home match over Croatia. It is very important because Croatia is not also weak team. We play away match and it is more dangerous, we have to be careful”.
