U-21 Georgia VS Russia is Excluded

As far as we know, there will be ballot for qualifying competition of 2013European U-21 Championship at 15o’clock on February 3 in the city of Switzerland, Nyon. It is already known that Russia and Georgia as well as Armenia and Azerbaijan will not be seeded in the same seed. UEFA explained such decision with politics. By the way national teams of Russia and Georgia were separated in ballot of EURO-2012. Final stage of Euro-2013 will be held in Israel and host team is free from qualifying competition.  52 national teams will participate in qualifying competition, they will be seeded in 10 groups. Winners and four second place winners go through play-off.
National teams were seeded according to their results in the last three European U-21 Championships. Georgian National Team was seeded in the 4th seed.
I - England, Spain, Holland, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Serbia, Germany, Romania.
II – Switzerland, Wales, Belarus, France, Ukraine, Turkey, Austria, Denmark, Portugal.
III – Belgium, Croatia, Hungary, Scotland, Greece, Slovakia, Moldova, Finland, Armenia.
IV – Northern Ireland, Montenegro,Georgia, Poland, Latvia, Norway, Slovenia, Ireland, Bosnia, Bulgaria.
V – Macedonia, Albania, Farers, Cyprus, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Andorra, San-Marino, Luxemburg, Malta, Liechtenstein.
