VI round matches of elite round of European U-19 Championship will take place in Croatia on May 25-30: Croatia, Bosnia, Austria and Georgia are in this group. One team goes through the final stage which will be held in Estonia on July 3-15.

Giorgi Devdariani coached Georgians in the qualifying round.
Georgian U-19 team went through elite round for the first time since 2007. Georgians played at the final stage only once – in 1999, coached by Vakhtang Kopaleishvili. Though, it was U-18 Championship but was identical to U-19.
The only difference is that in 1999 the final stage was 16-team. It has become 8-team since 2002.
