U-17 Team Won "Black Sea Cup"

Georgian U-17 rugby team beat host team 27:8 in the final of “Black Sea Cup” which was held in the capital of Romania, Bucharest. Georgian team became the best team of Eastern Europe.

After beating Ukraine 68:0 in semifinal, “The Lelos” beat Romania in final.

The match started with advantage of Georgians and at the 4th minute, Giorgadze scored try, Giorgi Aptsiauri used conversion.

At the 16th minute, the score increased. Giorgi Natelashvili scored try. Aptsiauri could not use conversion but at the 23rd minute, he scored penalty. Georgian advantage increased up to 15:0.

At the end of the first half and at the beginning of the second one, Romanians scored try and penalty. The score became 8:15. At the 44th minute, Saba Shubitidze was sin-binned. At the 49th minute, Giorgi Pruidze scored try and Aptsiauri used conversion. Four minutes before the end of the match, Giorgadze scored the second try and the score was 27:8.

Muraz Giorgadze scored two tries against Romania and Ukraine. He became the top try scorer. Giorgi Aptsiauri became the best scorer.
