Georgian U-13 players won 16-team international tournament ("Liepajas Cup") in Latvia. Team of Nodar Akobaia held the whole tournament with convincing victories and beat "Metalurg" Liepajas 2:0 in the final. Nika Lashkhi and Nika Koridze scored goals. According to the website of Georgian Football Federation, Georgian U-13 team is first non-Latvian team which won "Liepajas Cup".
16 teams from 9 countries participated in this tournament. Georgian children held 7 matches and scored 33 goals. Goals were scored by: Giorgi Jobava (8), Nika Koridze (6), Nika Lashkhi (5), Giorgi Beridze (4), Beka Mikeltadze, Vato Arveladze, Rati Kikiashvili, Dima Tutberidze (2-2), Giorgi Tvaradze, Giorgi Tsivilashvili.
