Georgian judokas Irakli Tsirekidze and Levan Zhorzholiani are fighting for bronze medals. Both of them lost chance of winning gold and silver medals in ¼ final. Tsirekidze lost against Belgian Elco Van Der Geest and Zhorzholiani – against Egyptian Ramadan Darwish.

Before ¼ final, Tsirekidze beat three opponents. He won over Brazilian Luciano Correa, Iranian Javad Mahjoub and Japanese Takamasa Anai.

Levan Zhorzholiani beat Lithuanian Marius Labalaukis by ippon, Dutch Henk Grol by waza-ari and Bosnian Amel Mekic.

In semifinal of repechage, Tsirekidze will wrestle against Russian Sergey Samoylovich and Zhorzholiani – against Czech Lukas Krpalek.

Today, prize winners will be found out in +100 kg too but without Georgians. Adam after beating Filipino Tomohiko Hoshina and Kyrgyz Iurii Krakovetskii, Okruashvili lost against South Korean Sung-Min Kim in 1/8 final. Zviad Khanjaliani held two matches on the Paris tatami. He won over South Korean Soo-Whan Kim by ippon but lost against Polish Grzegorz Eitel. Decisive matches will start at 17:30 Tbilisi time.
