Revaz Nadareishvili (84 kg) and Shota Gogisvanidze (120 kg), members of Georgian youth Greco-Roman wrestling team, won all matches at World Championship and gained the titles of world champions. The team of Vladimir Adeishvili ended up the season with 1 bronze, 2 gold and 2 silver medals.
Nadareishvili beat Croatian Kresimir Franjic, Iranian Majid Abas Alivarifeizabad and Turkish Aslan Atem. In the decisive match, he won over Zhan Beleniuk who competed in the name of Ukraine.
Shota Gogisvanidze beat Ukrainian Igor Didik, German Eduard Pop, Azerbaijani Aslan Dzebisov and Iranian Babak Hoseinal Dzehban Imcheh.
Yesterday, champions and prize winners were found out in 55 and 66 kg. Amiran Shavadze and Sachino Davitaia competed in the name of Georgia. Both of them lost in the first round and did not have chance to fight for bronze medals.
