Two Georgians in "Olympia" Ljubljana

Giorgi Shermadini a member of Georgian National Team will continue career in “Olympia” Ljubljana. He leaves for Slovenia on Wednesday and will sign 2-year agreement up.
Shermadini is a member of Greek grand “Paratinaikos” and he played at tournament named after Aleksander Gomelsk as a member of this team.
As it seems a head coach of “Paratinaikos” Jelko Obradovich decided to hire Georgian player before foursome tournament, but Sheridan was given last chance of playing in the capital of Russia, Moscow.
After Obradovich’s request special for Georgian player, organizers of the tournament let the head coach to represent 13-man squad. Georgian player played against “Zakgir” Kaunas and in 16:19 minutes managed to gain only 4 points.

That’s why Obradovich did not call him up for the match against “Partizan” Belgrad and finally was decided his hiring.  Newcomers in the club also accelerated Georgian player’s leaving for new team.
Supposedly, Shermadini is also not dissatisfied with new agreement. In “Olymia”he will have more chances of paying than in “Paratinaikos”. There is only one central player, Croatian 24-year-old Damir Markota (210 sm) was playing in Spain in the last season.
Shermadini will try on shirt of “Olymp” on October 9, when Slovenian club will play against “Partizan” in Adriatic League.
It is worth mentioning that other Georgian player Vladimer Boisa also will play in Ljubljana’s club. So, in case of transfer Sheridan will not feel lonely in Slovenia.
