Irakli Tsirekidze world and Olympic champion was appointed as head coach of Georgian national judo team. His assistants will be Lasha Gujejiani and Giorgi Vazagashvili.
At the press-conference which was held at Judo Academy named after Shota Chochishvili, located in Digomi, Davit Khakhaleishvili vice-president of judo federation represented new coaching board.
Official trainings of national team will start on Monday. According to the statement of authority of federation, Irakli Tsirekidze will be head coach of national team for four years.
