Georgian U-21 team trained at the field of football school “Olympic” for Euro qualifying match against Spain. “World Sport” talked to central defender of “Rubin” Kazan Saba Kverkvelia – 19-year-old boy plays in the main staff of “Rubin” and gained a big experience in the qualifying matches of Champions League. Kverkvelia told us that he was not allowed to talk about “Rubin”:

- What can you say about the match against  Spain?

- We have all conditions to gain success. We should do our best.

- The team does its best at the trainings.

- We are all fine. We know Spanish team but we are not afraid. We are completely mobilized.

- You have played many matches in “Rubin” but perhaps, the team is different.

- It is a great feeling when you play in the name of Georgia.

- You have many fans in Georgia and people watch your matches. What can you say?

- Perhaps, they like my playing and I will do my best too.

As for the training, it started at 17:30 and lasted an hour and 20 minutes. The team ran on a short distance, made long assists, shots in goal and two-goal.

Otar Gabelia divided 20 players this way:

“Reds”: Giorgi Makaridze; Avtandil Brachuli, Nika Apakidze, Saba Kverkvelia, Nika Kvekveskiri, Givi Ioseliani, Nika Dzalamidze, Zakaria Beglarishvili, Vako Kazaishvili, Levan Mchedlidze.

“Greens”: Tornike Zarkua; Levan Kakubava, Lasha Kalandadze, Nika Jishkariani, Ivane Kandelaki, Tornike Tarkhnishvili, Tornike Okriashvili, Irakli Shekiladze, Irakli Kobalia, Giorgi Chanturia.

It is difficult to find our which 11 players will play in the main staff. Perhaps, it will be found out on Wednesday. Georgian U-21 team will leave for Kutaisi on Wednesday and they will train there in the evening. The match will take place on September 1.
