After a 3-year break, football festival was celebrated in Kutaisi. "Torpedo" hosted "Dinamo" Tbilisi in the last round match of the first circle. There were times when Georgian champion was found out in the match between these two clubs. A lot of things have changed since then. "Torpedo" left Supreme League because of financial crisis - but now "El Clasico" returned to Georgian football.
People who attended this match at "Central" stadium, will never forget it. According to the decision of club and stadium managers, the attendance was free. The stadium was almost completely crowded. Players did not disappoint their fans and played well. "Torpedo" started playing actively but the hosts made the first dangerous moment.
At the 6th minute, after the assist of Ednilson, Kakubava gave high assist to Koshkadze. Nobody hindered the captain but his headshot was not exact.
After this, at the 14th minute, "Torpedo" made a great combination. Kemukhtashvili assisted to Popkhadze, then assisted to Sabanadze, then Digmelashvili. Loria caught the shot ball of the former player of "Dinamo". Soon after Chikviladze kicked the ball too but goalkeeper of "Dinamo" caught it again.
At the 18th minute, after the shot of Gigauri, Loria dived to stop the ball from entering his goal. At the 24th minute, "Torpedo" could have scored a goal. Kemukhtashvili assisted to Sabanadze but the ball touched the hand of "Dinamo" player. Referee did not stop the match because "Torpedo" had a chance to score a goal. "Torpedo" forward missed the final shot. At the last minute of the half, Sabanadze had a chance to score a goal but his shot ball but missed it.
The second half turned out to be much better. First "Dinamo" attacked. Kakhelishvili shot the ball but could not score. At the 54th minute, "Torpedo" attacked the goal of "Dinamo". Tarkhnishvili assisted to Kemukhtashvili who was in the penalty area of "Dinamo". Lasha could not get his assist but Chikviladze shot the ball strongly and 1:0.
After two minutes Kemukhtashvili tried to show himself but Loria played well. After the assist of Mujiri, Cameroonian forward Djousse scored a goal and restored the balance.
At the 62nd minute, Popkhadze tried to attack the opponent goal but in vain. After two minutes, Kakhelishvili shot strongly but goalkeeper of "Torpedo" parried the ball and saved his team.
Soon after, Djousse almost scored another goal but Parulava prevented him from doing it. "Torpedo" attacked "Dinamo" twice during 3 minutes. Chikviladze took a free kick but missed it. Then Gigauri had a chance to score a goal but could not manage to do it. At the 71st minute, Djousse played with hand. Cameroonian forward had one yellow card. Referee did not show him another yellow card and awarded "Torpedo" with free kick. Fans did not approve this decision and someone threw plastic bottle on the pitch.
"Torpedo" had a chance to score another goal and to win over "Dinamo" but the ball touched a goalpost.
The rest time of the match was tense too. Final whistle of referee Kvaratskhelia showed draw.

Kakhi Kacharava ("Dinamo"): "It was a great match. Both teams could have won and I think, the score is fair. I am glad, that such matches are held at the national championship. This is beauty of Georgian football".
