Today, the only representative of Georgian Olympic delegation will compete in London. Levan Zhorzholianii two times silver-medal winner at European championship will represent Georgia in 100kg weight category of judo tournament.
Georgian judoka has first match at 12:37 minute (Tbilisi time) and his opponent is Romanian Daniel Barta, who is three times bronze medal winner at European championship. Zhorzholiani has beat Barta twice and in case of winning, he will wrestle against Kazakh World ex-champion Maxim Rakov or Azerbaijani World champion Elmar Gasimov.
Levan has lost two matches with Rakov and beat Gasimov twice, but no matter which one will be his opponent, the match will be difficult in any case. If Zhorzholiani goes through the quarter-final, supposedly he will play against Hee-Tae Hvang and the match will be more difficult. Korean world champion is distinguished with his brutal wrestling and he has beat Georgian sportsman three times.
