Levan Gorgadze Georgian Sumo Wrestler has bad period, Sekitor who owned Kumiso title two times has negative balance the same Make-Kosh at Hatsu Basho, the first tournament of year which is underway in ““Riogoku Kokugikan”. Tochinoshini Maegashira #2 lost with Sekiwake Kisenosato. 24-year-old Japanese sportsman managed to beat him at the beginning of the fight.
There are left 6 days before the end of the tournament. Tochinoshini goal is to improve his balance in left rounds. His next rival is Komusubi Kakurai, who has 4 victories and 5 looses. Last year in September Tochinoshini lost with that Mongolian sportsman, but he managed to put revenge on him in November.  Levan Tsaguria a pioneer of Georgian Sumo the same “Kokai” and the heaviest Sumo Wrestler of Makuuchi Teimuraz Jugheli (Gagamaru) still keep the chance of showing positive balance. 29-year-old “Kokai” has 6 lost fights and celebrated the third victory with Kotokasuga Maegashira #3. Tsaguria started competing at the tournament as Maegashira #15 and he is under real danger to retreat in the second Zurio Division. If Levan wants to keep his place in Elite division, he has to win 5 fights in 6 ones, which is not easy. His next rival is Kitataika Maegashira #8. He lost two fights from three with him last year. 23-year-old Teimuraz Jugheli is the most successful from among them. He started competing at the tournament as Maegashira #6 and if he continues competing well success is guaranteed for him.
Gagamaru has 4 victories and 5 lost fights after 9 days. His last rival was Vakanosato Maegashira #9. He managed to beat 34-year-old giant ex- Sekiwake and now waits for the next rival Makonami Maegashira #12. Last year, Gagamaru won over 26-year-old Mongolian in July and in November.
Mongolian Hakuho is still the real winner’s candidate of “Emperor Cup”. He is only Sekitor who has not lost yet. “White Phoenix” celebrated the 9^th victory with Homasho Maegashira #4. European Ozekis, Baruto and Kotooshu are behind him with one lost fight. Hatsu Basho finishes on January 23.
