On May 19 Jacob Curby a veteran wrestler organizes team tournament in Chicago- Georgian and hosts teams will wrestle against each other at Curby’s Cup.” Olympic Team of the United States of America against Georgia, the country rich with world champions” American sport-reporters make such announce about this tournament.

Begi Darchia head coach of the team staffed the team with leaders of weight categories. It is newsworthy that after a long pause Manuchar Kvirkvelia has appeared.

Besides Darchia and wrestlers, Temur Kazarashvili and Zaza Jibladze coaches also leave for the US. Jibladze is invited as a referee at this tournament. Kakha Getsadze President of Wrestling National Federation and Davit Namgalauri deputy of Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs are also in official delegation.

On May 23 Georgian team returns to Tbilisi. Since May 26 Georgian team continues preparation process for Olympic Games in the city of Armenia, Tsakhkadzor.
