Georgian legionaries brought four points to their clubs in the fourth round of Federal 1 semi-professional league of France. 32-year-old Georgian rugby player Tedo Zibzibadze is in a good psychical condition and scored the third try in the fourth match of a new season.
22-year-old Beka Urjukashvili held the third match in this current season and scored the first try. In this round Merab Kvirikashvili scored only one penalty and Lasha Malaghuridze scored three penalties and drop-kick and brought 12 points to his club, but in spite of this his club lost.
In the first pool Avto Kopaliani and Shota Melikadze’s “Macon” lost points but in spite of this manages to keep leadership. After winning three matches in a row, it played draw with “Bobin” – 19:19. Georgian rugby players were in the start line-up and played till the end of the match. Zero Periaashvili’s “Viene” is in the fifth place with 9 points. It lost with Giorgi Jashirashvili’s “Shalon” 18:13 and as a result overcame this club. Petriashvili did not play for host club, as for Jashitashvili he played for the full match. “Shalon” has 8 points and it is in the 6th place. Giorgi Gabelia and Revaz Jgenti’s “Saint-Etien” is in the 8th place with 8 points. It beat Giorgi Sulashvili’s “Strasbourg” 37:22. Only Gabelia participated in this match from other Georgian members of the clubs. He entered at the 56th minute. No one managed to gain premier point in this match and “Strasbourg” is still without point.
After victory, Giorgi Jashitashvili, Revaz Gigauri and Elizbar Kuparadze;s “Monluson” beat “Dijon” 27:19. Kuparadze appeared on the field at the 55th minute when the score was 6:18. As for other Georgians, they were not in the line-up. “Monluson” has 5 points and it is among outsiders.
In the second pool Temur Gelantia and Beka Urjukashvili’s “Obna” has the best result. It beat “Agdy” in the fourth round. Urjukashvili played for the whole match and scored the second try at the 37th minute and as a result the score was 21:6. “Obna” won the match 38:13 and scored 4 tries in response of one try and as a result gained premier point. After four matches Georgians’ team is in the third place with 10 points. Gelantia was not in the line-up.
Giorgi Kutarashvili’s “Shatorenar” is in the fifth place with 9 points , it beat “La Sen” 22:18. Georgian rugby player was in the start line-up and spent 75 minutes in this match. Davit Kacharava’s “Rodez” is in the 6th place. “Rodez” beat “Roman” in the previous match, Kacharava appeared on the field at the 44th place.
In the third pool “Tiros” has 18 points in four matches after four victories. It is leader with Bachuki Gujaraidze and Shota Tskhovrebashvili’s “San-Nazer”. In the fourth round it defeated “San-Jan-Danjel” 27:0, traditionally Gujaraidze played for the full match and Tskhovrebashvili was not in the line-up.
Tedo Zbibzibadze’s “Perigo” beat Nikoloz Maghaldadze’s “Marmand” 30:10. Zibzibadze played for the full match and at the 49th minute scored the second try.
In the fourth pool both of the clubs of Georgian legionaries lost. Merab Kvrikashvili and Giorgi Mchedlishvili’s “San-Junian” was very close to victory while playing against “Lurd”, but finally lost 14:15, Mchedlishvili was in the start line-up and played for 69 minutes and Kvirikashvili appeared on the field at the beginning of the second period and managed to score penalty at the 59th minute. “San-Junian” is in the 5th place with 9 points.
Unfortunately, Lasha Malaghuridze and Simon Maisuradze’s “Banier” is in the last place with four points. In the last round it lost with “Limoj” 22:12.
The next matches of Federal 1 are held on October 13-14.
