“Geo Fight”, Georgian club of the fight without rules, did not participate well at the 13th stage of “Nations Friendship Cup”. Georgian team lost once again at the tournament which is organized by famous organization “PROFC”.
Russian club “AE Team” Saint Petersburg was the opponent of “Geo Fight”. Kharkiv hosted the 13th stage.
After unsuccessful competition in Tbilisi, 3 changes were made in Georgian club but these changes did not do the team good. Paata Robakidze (70 kg) fainted while fighting. Davit Kristesashvili (93 kg) lost his match. Ilia Jadugishvili got nose injury and referee did not let him continue fighting. Lukhum Khulelidze (84 kg) lost twice in a row. Gocha Smoyan (76 kg) fought more successfully than other Georgian fighters. A 19-year-old sportsman did his best against Aleksandr Butenko but lost.
Other two teams held matches against each other and both of them finished with the same score – 3:2. Belarusian “Akademia MMA” beat Polish “Team MMA Rocks” and Azerbaijani “Nefchi” won over Ukrainian “Pro Team Peresvit”.
The 14th stage matches of “Nations Friendship Cup” will be held in Rostov on March 26. Georgian team will not participate in it. Russian clubs “Peresvet FT” and “AE Team” will play against Belarusian “Akademia MMA” and Ukrainian “Combat DOBRO”.
