The most Titled Georgian of Moldova Ended up Career

Vaja Tarkhnishvili, captain of “Sheriff” Tiraspol, ended up football career at the age of 39.

Moldovan internet edition moldfootball spreads this information. In 1999, Tarkhnishvili transferred to “Sheriff” from “Lokomotive” Tbilisi and became symbol of the club.

He is the most titled football player in Moldova. He won Moldovan Championship 10 times, Moldovan Cup - 7 times and Super Cup - 4 times. Besides that, Tarkhnishvili won “Commonwealth Cup” with “Sheriff” and played at the group stage of Europa League twice in a row (2009-2010, 2010-2011). He is record holder of “Sheriff” – 491 matches and 24 goals.

Also, Tarkhnishvili played for “Dila” Gori (1991-1999). He played two matches in Georgian national team.
