Yesterday, Georgian national rugby club gathered at “Shevardeni” base and started preparation for Europe Nations Cup. As far as you know “The Lelos” start season against Ukraine, but due to bad weather this match was postponed. Next match is against Spain.
As it has already been mentioned, bad weather caused postpone. Now temperature in Ukraine is below zero, that’s why holding matches is impossible. Giorgi Chumburidze sport director made the statement about this following fact:”
Supposedly the match against Ukraine will be held in April. We are to inform European Rugby Association about this decision and we will wait for answer”.

It goes without saying that due to postponing this match, rugby players will have more time for adaptation with new head coach and for preparation for the second round of Nations Cup, which is held against Spanish team in Madrid, on February 11.
As far as you know “The Lelos” beat Spanish team – 60:0 in 2011, but now Spanish team has new head coach who staffs the team with legionaries and their goal is to win right of participation at World Cup 2015.
“The Lelos” leave for Madrid on February 9 and 2-3 days before will be known 24-man staff for this match.
