On June 18-19  is held The first stage of European Grand-Prix in sevens rugby  in the city of France, Lion.  Georgian team is in the Group A and plays against Portugal, Spain, Romania, Ukraine and Holland.

It can be said that the Lelos were lucky during the ballot, because there are such teams in group B as France, Russia, England, Wales, Italy and Moldova are.

European Championship has new regulations, the best 12 European Teams will play in four stages and then will be found out European Champion.  After France teams visit Moscow (Russia, June 25-26), Barcelona (Spain, Jule 9-10) and Bukarest (Romania, Jule 16-17).
