Giorgi Shermadini gained the first title after joining to “Maccabi” Tel Aviv. In the final match of Israel the club of Georgian central forward played against “Maccabi” Ashdod and won 75:65. The last quarter was decisive in this match, which was finished in favor of “Maccabi” Tel Aviv 22:10.
Centre forward of Georgian national team was not in the start line-up of Jew club. During 17:45 minutes he gained 6 points, 7 rebounds and 1 steal. Shermadini scored 3 three-points from 5, could not manage to score 2 penalties, gained one personal foul and the opponent gained foul once against him.
David Logan was the player of the match, he brought 24 points (6 three-point kicks from 10), 4 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists to the winner club. It is remarkable that according to the efficient coefficient Georgian basketball player was the third.

As far as you know American Jacob Pullen naturalized player of Georgian national team plays for “Hapoel” Jerusalem.  Before this tournament Shermadini’s club will compete for Euro League.  On October 11 it plays against “Unikakha” Malaga.
