The First Draw of Jobava

 

 

In the second round of The Black Sea Cup, ongoing in the city of Bulgaria, Burgas all the three matches ended in draw. So, Georgian grand master Baadur Jobava (2734) earned first half point.
 As far as besides Jobava Ukrainian Alexandr Arshchenko (2702), Russian Vladimir Malakhov (2700), Bulgarian Ivan Cheparinov (2689), Romanian Liviu-Diter Nisipeanu (2648) and Turkisg Suat Atalik (2603).
Today Baadur played draw against Nisiapeanu at the 48th move. Arshchenko-Cheparinov also played draw and Malakhov-Atalik also. So, after two rounds Russian Malakhov is leader with 1.5 points, which started the tournament with victory over Jobava.

Prize money of Black Sea Cup is 10 000 EUR, where the winner will gain 2 750 EUR. The tournament will be held in two circles and ten rounds and will finish on September 19.
