Georgian tennis player Sofia Kvatsabaia won two Antalya tournaments (10 000 USD) in a row. Sofia won 10 matches in two weeks and earned 24 rating points which will advance her in ranking.
It is worth mentioning that Kvatsabaia won the second Antalya tournament without losing even one set. No.5 seed Georgian tennis player beat Emma Flood of Norway 6:1, 6:3, Marianna Zakarlyuk of Ukraine 6:4, 6:2, Alexandra Damaschin of Romania 6:3, 6:0, Liana-Gabriela Ungur of Romania 6:0, 3:0 (retired) and Marina Giral Lores of Venezuela 7:6 (7:4), 6:1.
Another Antalya tournament (10 000 USD) starts today but Kvatsabaia will not compete in it. She will play at the Spanish tournament (10 000 USD). Sofia is in the 430th place with 89 points in WTA ranking.
Maka Chakhnashvili opens season in Andrezieux-Boutheon. Georgian tennis player will play against Sandra Zahlavova of Czech Republic in the first round of the tournament (25 000 USD).
