Temur Ketsbaia, head coach of Georgian national football team, is satisfied with the qualifying round calendar of World Championship 2014 which will be held in Brazil.

Temur Ketsbaia:  „Discussion of Euro 2012 qualifying round calendar lasted for a long time than today and I am satisfied that we reached agreement quickly. The calendar is acceptable for me. We are in the group which is difficult for any team. There are only 5 teams and we have to hold 8 matches. Now, we have to find free dates and opponents. It is interesting for any team to play against current world champion and France“.

Vicente del Bosque:„All sides reached compromise. When you look at the calendar you see that there is no winner and loser. All sides are satisfied with it. We start the qualifying round with the match against Georgian team in September 2012. Of course, everyone says that we and France are favorites in the group but I respect any team. You should be ready while playing on this level. We know that any team will try to beat Spain because we are world champion“.

Bernd Stange:  „All participants respect each other. We reached agreement which was acceptable for everyone. The discussion lasted for 2 hours. I am optimistic but it is difficult to be in the group with France and Spain. I think they are favorites of the group. As for us, we reached progress recently“.

Mixu Paatelainen:  „It is obvious that we are in the group where Spain and France are favorites. We are happy and it is great honor for us to start the qualifying round in Helsink. It will be a good chance for Finnish team to show its progress Europe. We will have a difficult beginning and we will hold the last match against France in Paris. Our team is very young. So, players have chance of gaining experience“.
