Temur Ketsbaia, head coach of Georgian national football team, stated at the press conference that Jano Ananidze might not play.

Temur Ketsbaia: I can say that preparation is going on well. Unfortunately, Jano caught cold. He has been lying in the bed for two days and perhaps, he will not be able to play. We need such players who will be 200% ready. Jano might be a substitute. Others are in good condition. We will do our best to make another present for Georgian fans. We all know the team we will play against. This Spanish team is world and two-time European champion. It is the all-time team. I am happy that this team is in Georgia and our football players will play against them. It will not be an easy match. We will do our best. I hope we will make Georgian fans happy again.

-         What will be a positive result?

-         Not losing. If we do not lose, it will be a positive result.

-         Are the boys psychologically ready?

-         They are psychologically ready. Everybody knows the team we will play against. We have no complex or psychological pressure. Perhaps, it will have a positive effect on the team.

-         Good mood and fight are necessary in the upcoming match. It brought victory against Belarus…

-         We reached victory not only with devotion. Many mentioned that Georgian team only fights on the field. Fight and devotion are important in Tuesday’s match. Belarusians, perhaps, know about our problems and were very self-confident but we proved opposite and won.

-         What mechanism can we use against Spanish team?

-         It is not an easy task. The whole world is thinking about it and cannot do anything. The boys will do their best. I do not want to lie anybody. Everybody knows about our journalists are not happy for victory of Georgian national team. I want to congratulate Georgian basketball team on going through final stage of EuroBasket. I hope national football team will reach such level someday.

-         The upcoming match is a very good chance for young players to show themselves…

-         The whole world will watch this match. Young players will have a chance to show themselves. I hope they will play for better clubs in future. First of all, they must bring success to the team. It will increase prestige of Georgian national team.

-         Do you think that some players might take more responsibility?

-         We have talked a lot about it. The national team is the most important. Of course, we need such individualism which Okriashvili did against Belarus.
