At the press conference Roman Pipia, president of “Dinamo” Tbilisi, confirmed that Czech specialist Dusan Uhrin left the club and presented acting head coach Malkhaz Zhvania to the mass media.

Roman Pipia: “Dusan Uhrin finishes working for “Dinamo” and he will depart for Czech Republic. We could have had him for a half year but we took into consideration that he is returning to his homeland and he must coach a successful club. We thank Dusan for what he has done for “Dinamo”. We wish him good luck in his homeland”.

Dusan Uhrin: “I want to thank “Dinamo” for everything what it has given to me and I want to wish the club good luck at the championship. Everybody knows this club in Europe. I wish good luck to the new coach. I am thankful to Roman Pipia. “Dinamo” would not have become champion without him. Everything is done not 100 per cent but over-done in the club”.

Roman Pipia: “I want to present acting head coach Malkhaz Zhvania. I have great expectations from this person. “Merani” cannot win a match without Malkhazi. Our second team achieved success under his guidance. I want to wish good luck to Malkhaz and hopefully, he will be the person who will continue working in “Dinamo”.

Malkhaz Zhvania: “Thank you for your confidence in me. I am ready to do my best for “Dinamo”. The future will show the rest”.

- What are your plans in winter transfer period? Are you going to add new players?

Zhvania: “We must be concentrated on the rest matches”.

Pipia: “The time will come when our coach and sports director will discuss the issues together. We have decided to make our team younger. The attitude to have high-budget club when we are the only one on this market does not justify. We must give young players a chance to show up themselves. The young players must prove that they can play and work for “Dinamo”. The children from our academy will have more chance to play for “Dinamo”.

- Will this decision have effect on the result?

Pipia: “Perhaps, it will. If the young player does not lose, he will not know the taste of victory. It is no use to become champions only in Georgia”.

- In this case, will the perspective of playing at Champions and Europa Leagues be postponed into the future?

Pipia: “I have done so much for “Dinamo”, perhaps, no one else has done it. It is impossible that one team has million dollars and the second one has 6 USD. There must be at least 4 teams with high budgets. It is a problem. The children will have a chance to hold good meetings. Perhaps, it will be more profitable for our partners and boys than for legionaries”.

- Will Zhvania be an acting head coach? Are you going to hold negotiations with any famous coach?

Pipia: “I do not know yet. However, Malkhaz must have a chance to prove what he can do”.

- Question to the both coaches: Mr. Dusan, will your assistants also leave the team? Mr. Malkhaz, who will help you while working for “Dinamo”?

Uhrin: “My staff will depart for Czech Republic with me”.

Zhvania: “Ramaz Svanadze and goalkeepers’ coach Levan Abashidze will work for “Dinamo” with me. On Saturday a fitness coach will arrive from Croatia”.

- What has brought this period to you as a coach?

Uhrin:  “This period has brought a lot to me. I won the first championship and Cup. Before that, I always took the second or third places and lost in Cup final. Before that, I have worked only for “Cluj” from high level clubs. Other clubs were lower level than “Dinamo”. “Dinamo” did me good. I do not see minuses. I have made friends here”.

- What mistakes have you made in the previous period?

Uhrin: “I have talked about positive things. Perhaps, my minus was that the player could not play for some days. We lost one match at Cup but overall, we had positive result”.

- Have you worked for “Merani” Martvili for 7 years? Are you ready to work for “Dinamo”?

Zhvania: “I am always ready for everything. I am ready to work for “Dinamo”.

- Who will be a sports director of the club?

Pipia: ”Irakli Vashakidze”.

- It is other to work for “Merani”. “Dinamo” has one goal. Are you psychologically ready for it?

Zhvania: “I am ready for that one goal”.

- “Who will replace Zhvania in “Dinamo 2”?

Pipia: “Malkhazi will be involved in it. He will discuss this issue with Irakli Vashakidze”.

- Who will leave the club from the legionaries? Will Xisco stay in the club?

Pipia: “Xisco will stay till the end of the season. He always does his best. Head coach always decides the main issues here. The same will happen in the case of Malkhazi. It is up to him. Adding young players does not mean that “Dinamo” must not become champion. We must form a fighter team”.  

- Besides foreigners, neither Georgian football players who came to the team before the season get on the list…

Pipia: “Malkhazi must decide it. Our goal is to give young players in Georgia and abroad a chance to show up themselves. We do not deny legionaries but we must have 75-80 per cent Georgians. We have made this decision because of the current situation. One person even offered me to have six teams which will play each other”.

- Mr. Dusan, are you satisfied with the transfers in “Dinamo”?

Uhrin: “All legionaries who are in “Dinamo” help the team”.
