There is underway memorial named after the first Georgian Chess Master Bukhuti Gurgenidze at Tbilisi Chess Palace. The tournament contains 7 rounds according to Swiss system. Children from 8 to 18 years participate in this competition.
Winner 16-18 -year -old girls and boys will be awarded with medals and diplomas.  As for champions besides diplomas and medals they will be awarded with special prizes.
 Coaches of each champion will be awarded with special awards. The points gained by 16-18-year-old participants will be written in FIDE rating. The tournament finishes on March 14.
