Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili ended up participation in Cincinnati international tournament. Tatishvili lost to Ekaterina Makarova in singles draw of WESTERN & SOUTHERN OPEN (2 168 400 USD). Later, Anna and the Russian lost doubles draw too.

In the second round of singles draw Makarova had advantage against Tatishvili. Anna won only three games. The match lasted only one hour and the Georgian lost 1:6, 2:6.

In doubles draw Tatishvili and Makarova won the first set over Slovenian Srebotnik and Chinese Zheng. Though, finally, their opponents won the match – 6:3, 4:6, 9:11.

Tatishvili earned 90 ranking points at the Cincinnati tournament.
