Tatishvili Lost the First Round

 

Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili lost to Anna Chakvetadze of Russia 4:6, 1:6 in the qualifying draw of Internazionali BNL d’Italia (2 427 975 EUR) and ended up competition. The match lasted one hour. Advantage of Chakvetadze was obvious.

Georgian tennis player did not serve ace. She made four double faults (her opponent had 5 double faults and served 7 aces) and used 3 from 6 break-points. Chakvetadze used 6 from 13 breaks. Overall, Anna won 39 points and the Russian – 59.

Tatishvili is world No.69 on WTA ranking. She earned only 1 point in Rome. As for Chakvetadze, she is world No.367 but she is former world No.5. After some health problems, Chakvetadze is trying to return her old form.
