Tatishvili Loses in Double Tournament Too

 

 

Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili could not finish the first qualifying round match against Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak due to injure (5:7, 1:2) at international tournament which is underway in the city of Austria, Linz (prize money 220 000 USD). In spite of this, she could not manage to play in double tournament.
Tatishvili and Slovenian Andrea Klepac lost with Bosnian Mervana Iugic-Salkic and Austrian Sandra Klemens in two sets 6:7 (1:7) 3:6.

At St. Cugat tournament (25 000 USD) Chakhnashvili and Slovenian Zec-Peskiric lost with Romanian-Dutch duet 4:6, 3:6. As far as you know, Romana Caroline Tabak will be opponent of Georgian tennis player in 1/8 final.
Yerevan tournament continues, prize money of the tournament is 10 000 $. Unfortunately, three Georgians who managed to go though the 1/8 final, only one of them managed to go though the next round. No.4 Tatia Mikadze managed to beat Czech Karolina Cechova 6:2, 7:5 and went through the quarter final, where she plays against No.6 seed Armenian Ani Amiraghyan.
Teona Tatishvili lost with No,1 seed Italian Anastasia Grimalka 0:6, 1:6 and Ani Gogvadze with Slovak Ana Carolina Shmiedlova 0:6, 1:6.
In the quarter final of double’s draw Natia Gegia and Kazakh Berezhnaya won over Rafikova and Kyrgyz Volkovich 6:0, 6:o. As a result, they went the semi-final. In the second semi-final Ukrainian sisters Ianchuk will play against Mikadze and Amiraghyan (No.3 seed), who won over Gorgvadze and Babilina Machaidze in the previous circle 6:0, 6:1.
