Finally our dream came true and Georgian tennis player is in top 100 of world ranking (WTA). 21-year-old Anna Tatishvili advanced with 34 places and became No.84 seed of the world.
Tatishvili has 785 points and she is 15-point ahead Chinese Shua Zheng who is No.85 seed and Romanian Sorana Kirseta who is No.83 seed has 791 points. Anna reached her career peak as a result of overcoming the second round of Wimbledon and winning Cuneo tournament (prize money 100 000 $). This week she will compete at international tournament in the city of Sweden, Bastad (220 000 $).
She starts competition in the main wrap and her first rival is No.8 seed Slovenian Polona Hercog, who is No.53 seed in world ranking. In double tournament Anna and Russian Vesna Dolonts play against Swedish duet – Arvidson and Larsson.
Tatishvili has better position in championship race, where is shown 2011 results. Anna has 623 points and she is No.66 seed. As a result of this she is ahead many titled players. It is known that The Williams sisters have missed most part of the season due to injuries, but in any case it is pleasant that Tatishyvili is 7-place ahead Venus and 49-place ahead Serena.

Oksana Kalashnikova is No.189 seed, time by time Maka Chakhnashvili approaches top 200, Sopho Shapatava has 43-place advance and she is No.249 seed now. By the way Sopho has solid advance (45 places) in double tournament’s classification. She is No.210 seed. Tatishvili is No.121 seed, Kalashnikova – No.179 seed and Chakhnashvili – No.204 seed in this following classification.

This week Chakhnashvili competes at international tournament which is underway in the city of France, Biarritz(prize money 100 000 $). Her first rival is Maria-Elena Camerin of Italy. In double tournament Chakhnashvili and Thorpe of France play against Russian Panova and Polish Ursula Radwanska.
Sopho Kvatsabaia and Ekaterine Gorgodze started competing at international tournament which is underway in the city of Germany, Aschaffenburg. Kvatsabaia (No.1 rank) beat Tereza Martinchova of Czech Republic 7:6 (7:3) 6:2, as for Gorgodze (No.13 rank) she won over German Elizabeta Bauer 6:0, 6:4. In any case there will be Georgian participant in main wrap of the tournament, because Sopho and Ekaterine play against each other in decisive match.
Tamar Tskhakaia beat Carolina Vlachova at international tournament which is underway in the city of Turkey, Izmir (prize money 10 000 $). The first rival of Viktoria Zhorzholiani is Italian Micaela Morenni.
