After a brief pause, we will see Georgian No.1 tennis player - a 20-year-old Anna Tatishvili on the court this week. Tatishvili is visiting the city of Texas, Grapevine, where the tournament (50 000 USD) is held.
Tatishvili who is in the 137th place in Women's Tennis Association (WTA) is No.5 seed at the tournament and will start participation from the main draw. Varvara Lepchenko, Croatian Mirjana Lucic, South African Chanel Sjepers and Japanese Kurumi Nara have better seeds than Anna.
Maka Chakhnashvili was to play at the tournament (50 000 USD) in the city of France, Nantes. But we can see her neither in qualifying draw nor in main draw. Yet we do not know why.
