Tatishvili Defeated Radwanska

 

 

After competition at London Olympic Games, Anna Tatishvili holds the first tournament in Canada and she competes very well. 22-year-old Georgian tennis player won the third qualifying match at “Rogers Cup”, which is underway in Montreal (prize money 2 168 400 USD) and went through the main draw.
As far as you know, Tatishvili beat Sheron Fichman of Canada and Asley Weinhold 7:5, 6:2 and 6:0, 6:2. In the decisive match she defeated No.46 seed of the world Ursula Radwanska 6:4, 6:0.
It is remarkable that Pole tennis player was No.1 seed in qualifying tournament, but Anna used all the five break-points and finally won.
For overcoming qualifying round of Montreal tournament, Tatishvili who is No.79 seed with 833 points in WTA ranking, earned 30 points. Anna will gain one point for going through the main draw and if she overcomes even one round there, she will gain 70 points.

Ksenya Pervak of Russia who is No.72 seed with 891 points is future opponent of Tatishvili, Pervak reached her career peak last year in September when she became No.37 seed. Last year, at Memphis tournament Pervak beat Tatishvili in two sets – 6:3, 6:4.
At doubles tournament Anna and Andrea Klepach of Slovenia play against due of Chuang of Taiwan and Zhang of Chine. In case of winning players will gain 125 points.
