Anna Tatishvili lost the first match of the main draw at French Open and as a result she minimized her chance of participation in London Olympics. She was very lucky, when was found out that Alexa Glatch one of the winners of qualifying round would be her opponent, but she could not use this chance.
As usual Tatishvili was not good at serving. It is newsworthy that in the decisive set Anna performed three breaks, she won her server only once and finally lost 3:6, 7:5, 4:6.
Tatishvili had 75% coefficient at her first serve, 53% ended in favor of her (42 from 49). Georgian tennis player gave 1 ace, made double mistake (the opponent had 1 double mistake and 6 aces) used 6 break-point from 12, as for the rival she had 7 break-points from 12. In total Anna gained 99 points and Canadian – 103 points.
As far as you know, in case of victory would earn 100 ranking points and supposedly she would participate in London Olympics, but she earned 5 points at French Open and she might not leave for London. Now Tatishvili is No.72 seed in WTA ranking with 873 points.
