Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili successfully competes in single as well as in double tournament at the international tournament (100 000 USD) which is underway in the city of Italy, Cuneo. She won over host tennis player Karin Knapp (6:3, 4:6, 7:6 (7:3)) and went through 1/8 final.
It is remarkable that Karin Knapp turned 24 on June 28 and supposedly she wanted to make present for herself but she could not manage. She is on the 251st place in world ranking, she reached career peak in 2008 (No.35 seed).
In 1/8 final Tatishvili who is No.118 seed in world ranking plays against Belarusian Anastasiya Yakimova who is No.100 seed in world ranking.
As for double tournament, Tatishvili and Croatian Mirjana Lucicwent through quarter final where they will play against Luxembourger Minella and Swiss Voegele.
