Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili started participation in the Bastad singles tournament with failure but she had a good start at doubles tournament with Russian Vesna Dolonts. Georgian-Russian duet beat Swedish tennis players 6:1, 6:2. The match lasted for an hour. Advantage of Tatishvili and her partner was obvious.

Thanks to this victory, Anna and Vesna went through ¼ final where they will play against Romanian Cirstea and Czech Safarova. This tandem won over Uzbek Amanmuradova and Czech Hlavackova 1:6, 6:4, 11:9. Tatishvili and Dolonts earned 70 points for going through the second round. Semifinalists will gain 130 points.
