Davit Targamadze, player of Georgian national football team, who left the field early in the match against Greece, told “World Sport” that his injury was not serious and would return to the pitch in 2 weeks.

Davit Targamadze: “Thanks God, I am saved. I will have 2-week pause. I will be treated for 3-4 days here and then I will leave for Ukraine”.

- It seemed that you had a very serious injury. Pain was obvious on your face.

- At first I though I broke my leg and bone was outside. My ankle swelled up at that moment.

- How can you estimate the match against Greece?

- What can I say about the match?! I could not sleep yesterday. Everything what we did was spoiled in last 10 minutes. It was difficult to play with 10 players. Something is wrong with us… Witchcraft or unluckiness, I do not know what to call it.

- You scored the first goal in the national team…

- I was very happy because I scored the first goal in the national team. Though unfortunately, we lost.

- Can you say that you managed to inculcate in the team?

- First of all, I want to thank Temur Ketsbaia who trusted me and let me play in the main staff. There is a good atmosphere in the team and all experienced players support young ones. The most important for me is that I am called up in the national team and I have chance to show myself.

- What can you say about Georgian team in the last qualifying round? Temur Ketsbaia stated that this qualifying round was successful for the team…

- Time is necessary for forming the national team. There are such players in the team who can play well. Everything is ahead.

- Are you going to change the club in winter?

- There are some variants but I will not name them.
